What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files websites store on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, IndexedDB, and service worker caches - all of which let a site remember information between visits or while you're using it.
Throughout this notice, we use "cookies" as shorthand for all of these.
What we use and why
We use cookies to make Follow Me 42 work, measure site traffic, and track the performance of our advertising campaigns.
Strictly necessary
These are required for the Service to function. You can block them in your browser, but doing so will break things like staying logged in and saving your game preferences.
Multiplayer
These are used when you interact with multiplayer features (tables, lobbies, and real-time games).
Functional
These are not strictly required but improve your experience by remembering your last game setup.
Analytics
We use analytics cookies (specifically Google Analytics 4) to understand how visitors find and interact with our site, helping us improve the gaming experience. All IP addresses are anonymized and data is aggregated.
Advertising
We use advertising and targeting cookies (specifically Meta Pixel) to measure the effectiveness of our advertisements and understand how visitors interact with the site. We do not permit third-party advertisements to be shown on the Service itself.
Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by services we use to operate the Service:
- Google - sets cookies as part of the sign-in flow. Controlled by Google's privacy policy.
- Microsoft - may set cookies as part of the sign-in flow. Controlled by Microsoft's privacy statement.
- Apple (coming soon) - may set cookies as part of Sign in with Apple when available. Controlled by Apple’s privacy policy.
- Facebook (Meta) - may set cookies as part of the sign-in flow and Meta Pixel tracking. Controlled by Meta's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare - may set security-related cookies (for example, to identify abusive traffic). Controlled by Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Stripe - sets cookies for fraud prevention and session continuity on checkout pages.
We do not control how these providers use the cookies they set beyond requiring them to do so consistent with our contracts.
Your choices
In your browser
Most browsers let you view, delete, and block cookies through their settings. Instructions for common browsers:
Clearing cookies or local storage will sign you out and reset your preferences, but will not delete your account.
On mobile devices
Most mobile operating systems offer similar controls through the browser or system settings. PWA storage can usually be cleared by removing the installed app.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no industry-standard response to this signal, and we do not currently change our behavior based on it. We do not track you across other sites regardless.
Global Privacy Control
Where applicable under California law, we recognize the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information in the first place, but we honor the signal as additional confirmation.

We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be announced through the Service or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
